Hi Tweets,

Rumors along Highway 9 were that one birder reported seeing the
Whooper Swan north of Marsh Road, near the driving range, around 9:15
a.m. today. No one else stopping by Swan Central on Highway 9
reported any luck with either the swan or Emperor Goose. There were
a lot of scopes out and lots of miles on various cars but no bird. I
hung around Bob Heirman Park until 5:30 p.m., listening for its call,
but no luck. Perhaps tomorrow will be a more successful day. But,
hey, it sure was a nice way to end the year. There were convivial
conversations and good weather. Happy new year to all.
