Tweets,
Looking thru the pictures and information available
on-line about Iceland versus Glaucous Gulls, I've
managed to get myself totally confused about the Kent
Gull.
One measure that I found, that I have not heard
mentioned here yet, is the "Eye-width to Bill-length
Ratio". An acceptable ratio for an Iceland would be
less than 4 (Bill length less than 4 times the width
of the eye).
Of course, looking at the on-line pics of Iceland
gulls and Glaucous, I could not figure out exactly
where to start measuring the bill-length to get the
ratio to come out right for the photos ;(

So, does anyone out there know the correct procedure
for measuring this, and could they apply it to the
Sullivan's pictures and let us know how they come out?
(I do not have access to the Sullivan's pictures
during the day ;)
