the Marine Science Center on Yaquina Bay.

Large numbers of SANDHILL CRANES, SNOW GEESE, and TUNDRA SWANS are now being
seen on Sauvie Island. The WHITE-TAILED KITE is still being seen along Oak
Island Road. On January 31 a male BARROW?S GOLDENEYE was on Smith Lake in
North Portland. A NORTHERN SHRIKE is in the same area.

On January 25 ten BARN SWALLOWS were at Baskett Slough NWR. On January 29
ten BARNS and 30 TREE SWALLOWS were at Ankeny NWR. A large flock of
CANVASBACKS and thousands of DUNLIN are wintering on the refuge.

On January 27 a FERRUGINOUS HAWK was in the Rogue Valley along Kirtland Road
