Subject: [Tweeters] smallish glaucous from oregon

Here's another small (juv) Glaucous that happened to drop in by
me during a seawatch in Lincoln County, Oregon this morning.
Unfortunately I was unable to get comparative shots before
it flew, but the overall bulk was intermediate between the avg
size of nearby Herring and Glaucous-winged, and the bill size
was similar to Herring.

As I indicated previously, "white-winged" gulls around this
size are not exactly super rare in Oregon. I've personally seen
something like 8-9 in the last 7 years not including hybridy-
looking individuals.
