I'm going down the accumulated tweeters messages, and thought I'd ad my half cent worth. (I probably spelled "Psittacine" wrong.)

When I lived in the Miami, Florida area for a year before exiling myself out here, I couldn't help notice all the parrots and parakeets in the South Miami-Coconut Grove-Coral Gables area. I even managed to ID some of them. But I was umimpressed with the Rose-ringed Parakeet that flew along my parents' street. It flew weakly; not at all robustly like Canary-wings or Monk Parakeets, for example.

There you have it....
