The brochures should be in the mail today, and the website will be updated with registration information available for download either Wednesday or Thursday. As Ed Newbold reminded us, the dates are March 24-26 which the weatherman is telling us will be warm and sunny in the Columbia Basin. This year's "theme" will be the ice-age floods, but of course there will be plenty for diverse interests (36 speaker slots, including lots of new topics). We are expanding the post-Festival tours the following two weekends to include both cranes and Burrowing Owls. I was out yesterday and found owls at seven locations just outside of town, so there should be more than during last year's late arrival and earlier-than-normal festival.
