Tweets,

I tried again this morning for the Clark's Grebe at the Cedar River mouth and once again all I could make out was a flock of ca. 150 Western Grebes about one mile away. After a half hour going blind trying to focus my weak eyes at 30x they opened the kayak rental place. Ah ha! I rented a kayak and managed an excellent close look at the Clark's Grebe amongst the Westerns, for just $15 for the hour. They seemed unperturbed by my presence.

Also was alerted to a Spotted Sandpiper seen from the walkway east of the Kayak rental office by a lady on her lunch hour.

Gene Hunn.
