Hello
We have killdeer on our beach, and a hundred yards or so downbeach there is a
gravelly spit where they seem to congregate.
I assume that sometime this spring they will exploit the gravel above the high
tide line for nest sites.
Can anyone advise as to the most likely timing of the nesting and on precautions
appropriate during the nesting season?
