Tweets - I have posted the 2006 WOS Conference information and Registration
Form on the WOS website. The conference will be held in Republic, WA
(that's out in Ferry County folks), June 16-19.

The conference information on the website goes into a bit more detail (OK -
into excruciating detail) about the field trips than what was printed in
WOSNews 101, to better allow you to make choices.

You'd do well to look at this stuff sooner rather than later if you're
planning on going. Registration begins February 13th, which means field
trips start filling up on February 13th. Luckily there are so many good
trips and good leaders that missing your top choices shouldn't hurt TOO
much, but still... Get those forms in!

I'm doing the registration stuff again, which means I'm the guy that tries
to decipher your choices for field trips. If you have any questions about
how to fill out the form, or such, please email me at
BirdMarymoor at verizon.net.

My basic policy is to try to get you into your highest priority trips. I
won't do something odd like put you on the same trip on two different days
unless you explicitly beg me to, so you don't have to worry about that. So
if you REALLY want to go on a particular trip, you *can* make it your first
choice on 3 different days. Similarly, though, if you have 3 top trips and
they are your 1,2,3 trips on Friday and your 2,3,1 trips on Saturday, and
your 3,1,2 trips on Sunday, I'll figure out that you want those three trips!
So if I can't give them to you on the exact days you asked for, I'll still
try to get you on them somehow. DO GIVE ME ALTERNATES THOUGH - if you just
give me your top choices and those are full, I'm kind of stuck.

There is room on the form for your email address. If you give me your email
address and I have some question, I may quickly fire off an email. If you
can get back to me fast (within 24 hours), I may be able to use your
response to guide me.
