Subject: [Tweeters] Redtail and crows, payback

While waiting at the light at Echo Lake Rd and 522, I watched several crows
land in a cottonwood above where a red-tail was perched. After less than a
minute, the redtail flew to the east, followed by one crow. The crow flew
back into view a bit later, then all the crows took off as the redtail
returned, stooping from above on the one crow that was the furthest from the
group. The crow swerved and dove above the highway with the hawk diving on
it, then veering away over the highway to the west. All the other crows had
scrammed to the east out of view. For the first time I was annoyed when the
light turned green, as I wanted to stay and see if anything else happened.
