Hi Tweets....I thought it worth mentioning, after reading the post from the
Byers re: the vegetation beinbg scoured by the storms, what has actually
happened is the storms deposited great amounts of sand across the spit
between the road and the harbor entrance.

For those of you familiar with Damon Point...the small pond just south of
the entrance to Damon Point has been filled in with sand, as has the creek
that carried the tidal overflow from that pond east along the road. The huge
waves and high tides combined to do some major renovations to the south end
of the Ocean Shores peninsula...and the Snowy Owls stuck it out!

One of the interesting things about living out here is watching the constant
changes that take place and in the winter, those changes can happen
overnight...and do!
