This evening the MUTE SWAN at the Steigerwald Lake NWR near
Washougal, Clark County had moved to the main lake and was easier to view
from the shoulder of Highway 14 at milepost 18. Very strong winds (60
mph+) out of the Columbia River Gorge prevented setting up a scope or
even getting out of my vehicle.
