Well, at least a few Sandhill Cranes were seen today. Six cranes were parked at Scooteney Reservoir south of Othello this afternoon. We weren't there for less than 5 minutes before they got up, spooked by an immature Bald Eagle. Last we saw they were circling high above the reservoir checking to see if the eagle had cleared out.
