Here is a message from Bill Hull, in case this is of interest to any
of you. If you haven't visited Bill's web site (http://
www.mangoverde.com/), you should. Its goal is to picture all of the
birds of the world eventually in his World Bird Guide, so it's a
great site to know about. Perhaps you have a photo or two to contribute!

> Dennis,
> Hello? How are you? I am in town this week for business in Bellevue.
> I brought my four year old son with me and took him to Cougar
> Mountain Park this morning for a walk and ended up seeing one and
> hearing two additional Northern Pygmy-Owls. They were all very close
> to the start of the "Shangri La Trail" near "Anti-Aircraft Peak". I
> heard them first and couldn't for the life of me figure out which owl
> it was until I saw it, photographed it, and got back to my hotel room.
> A pleasant and unexpected lifer.

> I am not on the "tweeters" list and was not sure if this would be of
> interest to local folks or not. On the 6 or so visits I have made to
> that park while here on business trips I have never seen anyone
> birding there.
