Dear Tweets,

This morning at about 10:00 I had a juvenile Golden Eagle about a quarter
mile west of Bow between Bow and Edison. I observed the bird through
binoculars and scope in excellent lighting (full sun) from East Edison Rd.
in a field to the north for about 15 minutes while it was on the ground at a
distance of about 100 yds. It was apparently finishing a meal, mantling over
what remained of its kill. It then flew east towards Bow. I encourage others
to be on the alert for this bird because I imagine it will continue find an
abundance of food in the area and perhaps linger. Beautiful bird.

Best birding,
