Thanks to everyone who replied to my question about how to write bird names; the vote was unanimous for capitalizing first letters. Although several expressed concern about my potentially having provoked an intense exchange of opinions, everyone was completely civil and quite cordial, reminding me once again why I so much enjoy our Tweeters community.
