Around June 1996 or so I saw the eastern Blue Jay in the Seattle
Highlands where I was working. The Seattle Highlands are on Puget
Sound cliff slope areas just south of Shoreline. This is a bird that
I grew up with and am very,very familiar with as anyone who lives
back east and notices birds is. Thus, they seem to make sporadic
occurrences in our area.

Does anyone know their frequency of occurrence? Have they been sited
inland in Western Washington away from parklands on Puget Sound as my
bird and these Discovery Park birds are in?
