Let's be 100% clear on one thing: a wild bird is a product of a natural
habitat and can not be treated as if it were an entity that can indefinitely
retain what defines it (i.e., its morphology and behavior) outside of that
habitat. If you're genuinely interested in Anna's Hummingbird conservation,
then give to the California chapter of the Nature Conservancy and support
Upper Sonoran life zone conservation. It's really that simple.
