Subject: [Tweeters] Seattle Blue Jay Yes 2-22-06 PM too

Hi Tweets -
Home from the Marymoor walk, I read Kathy Andrich's report on the
Blue Jay in Seattle and decided to go take a look this afternoon. Lo
& behold, at 3:00, after only about 15 minutes, I was looking at the
Blue Jay! It had moved one block east since morning, to the corner of
34th and Thurman. After I watched it for a bit, it flew further north
and then a bit east. Hopefully with a few more reports we can have a
sense of the range of this visitor.

On my way home, I made a failed attempt at turning today into a
3-Jay-In-Seattle day, with a stop in Ballard at the WESJ site. No
luck on that front, unfortunately. Perhaps with the rainy weather,
these dryland jays were keeping hidden and rethinking the wisdom of
this whole 'range expansion' idea....
