If you can sleep well at night, if you feel that you're setting a good
example for your nephew by fostering wildlife dependency on human
activities, and if you're content to wait until it's too late to accept that
maintaining artificial populations of hummingbirds was not a good idea, then
I guess there's nothing more I can say.

Just one last thing:
