Whatcom Co. Tweets,
My "birdy" WWU senior called us to report that she has seen a Clark's Nutcracker twice in the past few days in a "bushy conifer" near her apartment. She lives towards campus from Sehome Village (is that the name of the shopping center?) She is wondering how unusual this sighting is. Although we are aware that the Clark's is an altitudinal migrant, is it typical for it to hang out so low, so long? Thanks!
