FIELD ASSISTANTS needed for avian ecology field study of forest birds in the
Seattle area. 2-4 assistants needed from early April – early August. Duties may include spot mapping, nest searching, mist netting and banding, radio telemetry tracking, insect sampling, vegetation and habitat surveys, and behavioral observations.

Experience with these methods and familiarity with the regions avifauna
preferred but not required. Training will be provided. We are looking for
responsible, dedicated, and hard-working individuals who are team players that
can work independently. Applicants must be licensed to drive, be good
navigators, and be able to work in rough terrain and during inclement weather.
Research will involve long hours in the field beginning before dawn, and
occasional weekends. Full-time positions pay $800 - $1200 per month, depending
on experience. Part-time, volunteer, and university credit positions available
