Tweeters,
I saw the movie and although most of the pictures were rather fuzzy, some
close-ups seemed to clearly show red legs and bills. My first thought was
Red-legged Kittiwake, but upon perusing Harrison's Seabirds of the World I'm
strongly inclined to agree with Richard that they were Black-headed Gulls.
They do seem to have the wing pattern that I observed in the movie, and
filming in Norway would explain the badly 'out of range' occurrence! Note...
I've never seen either of these species.
