Happy New Year, fellow Tweeters!

At around 11:30-noon on Jan. 1st I found an odd cormorant on the pilings on
the North side of the Edmonds ferry dock. The bird was all dark except that
about 2/3 of the way down the belly the dark brownish black ended in a
straight line and the rest of the belly was bright white. It was sitting
with a group of 3 Pelagics, although they stayed behind when it left. My
only guess would be a leucocystic Pelagic cormorant. Any other ideas? Has
anyone else seen this individual?

Good birding in the New Year!
