Wow, do I sense an ever-so-subtle shift to recipes?
If this thread picks up and/or takes off, I'll be ready with my grandmother's
south Louisiana specialties--egret gumbo and red-winged blackbird jambalaya.
Both were great with candied yams. Yum!
