On the Sequim-Dungeness CBC there were 4 Snowy Owls and all were in the mass of driftwood at the base of Graveyard Spit where it joins the main Dungeness Spit. This seems normally to be where they hang out. It's about a 4 mile hike to that point. You can view them without intruding on the restricted area by climbing on the drift logs back from the outer beach and looking south.

I would like to take my son to see his first Snowy Owl this weekend. We are planning on heading up to Port Angeles and/or Dungeness Spit.

Does anyone know if the one spotted earlier at Ediz Hook is still around?

Also, regarding the Jan 2nd Email that included a count of 6 snowy's at Dungeness spit - were they all spread out or clustered some where along the spit.

Any other suggestions / Feedback would be welcome.
