I've recently revived an old interest in photography, not just birds but, I must say, photographing them adds an interesting challenge to the act of birding and it can help with later identification. It is useful to have good equipment. There are a number of photography sites on the web, not just birding sites, on which people post some of the most amazing bird photos from around the world. The one I'm most interested in is www.usefilm.com<http://www.usefilm.com/> (specifically, http://www.usefilm.com/photo_category/19/Pictures_of_Wildlife.html<http://www.usefilm.com/photo_category/19/Pictures_of_Wildlife.html> ) I'm not what you would call the most accomplished bird photographer - my camera isn't entirely up to snuff - but here are my photos that you might enjoy. There are a lot of better ones on the site.
