Hi, this is Steven Mlodinow. Today Maynard Axelson and I had another
BEWICK'S SWAN. This bird was at the intersection of Cook Road and
Chuckanut, in with a flock of about 100 Tundras and two Trumpeters. This
is definitely a different bird from last time. It looks much like the
bird that has been present in the Samish/Skagit area for the last couple
years. About 40% of the bill is yellow in profile, but it does not cross
over the top of the bill.

Hi, this is Steven Mlodinow. Jesse Barry and I just found a TUFTED DUCK
on West Valley Highway just north of 277th in the Kent Valley. It is
pretty much mostly an adult male, shows some signs of immaturity. Solid
black back, no signs of hybridization.

Also as you're driving to the Boeing pond, there is a big field on your
left and there were 550 CACKLING GEESE in that field, and on the edge of
that field, the SAY'S PHOEBE was present. Good luck and good birding.
