I found a Snowy in Spokane County today. It was 1/2 - 3/4 miles NE of the intersection of Carstens and Wagner Farm Rd. I sure that it is the same one that has been seen in that area for the last 10 days. There is a lone fencepost out there. Sometimes it sits on top and can just be seen with binos. Today it was sitting in the grass near the post and I had to set up my spotting scope to be sure that it was not a piece of paper. So if you look for it in that area, take your scope for sure Four days ago, I found an adult snowy on Sprague Rd just west of Ladd Rd. in Spokane Co. So, that's two for sure in Spokane Co. this year.

I also found a juvenile on the windmill near MP 259 on HWY 2 a few miles west of Reardon in Lincoln Co. Very photographable.

The third one I found was an adult female on a post near the RR tracks a half mile NExN of the intersection of Mondovi and Sunset HWY in Lincoln.

I saw what I'm pretty sure was a Prairie Falcon on Ladd Rd near Sprague Rd. flying.
