Went down to Kent Valley to try to get the Tufted Duck and Iceland Gull. Struck out in both cases. Did get to see a number of good birds though, including Peregrine Falcon, Western Sandpiper, Dunlin, Canvasback and Common Goldeneye.

After leaving the area, I dropped into Alki, to pick up birds I hadn't seen yet on the year. Had great luck south pf the lighthouse, spotting Surf, Black and White-winged Scoters, Harlequin Duck, Barrow's Goldeneye, Red-breasted Merganser, Red-necked Grebe, Western Grebe, Eared Grebe, Least Sandpiper and Black Turnstone.

Finally, popped down to T-105 and T-107 on Duwamish River. Not much going on down here. Best birds were Brown Creeper and Killdeer, both at T-107.

Day total: 64 species
YTD total: 83 species (22 added today)
Miles driven YTD: 64
Gallons used YTD: 2.1
Yard list: 23 species

Good birdingeveryone!
