I heard one singing this morning too, also a regular yard visitor and a
user of my suet cage. I've also had JUNCOS clinging to the cage,. A M/F
pair of NORTHERN FLICKERS visit the cage and my back porch
regularly. (standard Red-Shafted) I'm going to put up a flicker nest box
soon as soon as I figure out where to put it. ANNA'S HUMMINGBIRDS are still
constant visitors, usually an adult female. I still get severely yelled at
when in the backyard, I tell her I'm her "sugar-daddy" but she never listens.

Also, the RW BLACKBIRDS down at Golden Gardens Park are singing and
displaying like crazy. I had one land on the back of my hand the other day
when someone else was feeding the ducks He displayed and sang on my hand. (
I had no food) One pair each BUFFLEHEADS, BARROW'S GOLDENEYES and HOODED
MERGANSERS in the pond this morning along with the Mallards and Wigeons.
