A week ago at Pritchard Beach there were a couple of BCChickadees
making their fee-bee call. Also a whole tree filled with Red-wingd
blackbirds, and treefrogs singing. It really seems too early.

I heard a B-C Chickadee singing this morning while I was walking from
Seattle' Colman Dock to 1st Ave along the overhead walkway.

Frogs calling at 4 different spots, crocuses blooming, my daffodils are
up 6" and Pussy Willow catkins are already pollinating. These have
always been my traditional signals for spring but they are several
weeks earlier than usual this year at my latitude.
