WINTER BIRDING FOR BEGINNERS

This class includes two field trips and two class sessions in a relaxed,
informal setting. The basics of bird identification, birding etiquette and
ethics, equipment selection, field guides and local birding areas will be
covered. Winter raptors, waterfowl and feeder birds will be emphasized.

DATES: Classroom sessions on Tuesdays 1/31/06 and 2/7/06; 6:30 to 9:00 P.M.
Morning field trip to Juanita Bay Park - Saturday 2/4/06 *OR* Sunday 2/5/06
All day field trip to Skagit Flats - Saturday 2/11/06 *OR*/ /Sunday 2/12/06

CLASSROOM LOCATION: ELWAS office: 308 Fourth Avenue S., Kirkland (south of
Central Way)
