Relative to the discussion of Townsend's Warblers in Seattle, I've just
been watching a pair in the cedar tree outside my office. I see these
beautiful birds at least once each week. An hour earlier, we had 6 plump
California Quail cleaing up seeds under the feeder. My wife tells me that
this flock appears almost every afternoon. And I just been watching a
Ruby-crowned Kinglet preen and demonstrate its ruby crown. Add in the
Steller's Jays and the Flickers, and it is hard to get a lot of work done.
