Today, while passing through Francis this morning, just west of town, There was one Wild Turkey. It was seen north of Hwy 6 and 300 feet west of Francis Rd. (Francis Rd. goes south). When we stopped it headed for the edge of the woods. On our way back just east of town (Francis) was a hovering White-tailed Kite.

I talked to one of the dairy farmers in the area and he has seen them on his pastures off and on this winter. I saw a flock there a year ago.
