I quit trying to sort out pheasants, for example, as to whether or not they are releases or established. Now I just count them on my county lists. For example, I adjusted my Thurston County list up by one to include a male Ring-necked Pheasant that I suspect may have been a released bird. I suspect other people would count it, so why handicap myself.
