I didn't post a goldfinch story earlier because I couldn't think of one, but
Steve reminded me of that most annoying trait of goldfinches. Every spring,
they fool me. I hear this unfamiliar song, and go searching for the bird.
Usually, before I see the bird, I hear the "potato-chip" call or the tweee
call and know that, once again, I've been had.
