While doing a monthly survey of birds in Sycamore Creek Park this morning, we saw two American Dipper. We have seen. We also saw 2 in Oct. and 4 in Dec. Other birds seen at this park which is in Issaquah. If you south on Front St. past a light at Newport Way, the another light at 2nd Ave. SE, then immediately over a bridge over Sycamore Creek, the just past the bridge turn right on Sycamore Drive and after a short block turn right on Sycamore Creek Lane and follow a short distance to a turnaround where you can park. It is a nice little park and only takes a little over an hour to survey. Other birds seen in the fog were:
Bushtit
Black-capped Chickadee
Ruby and Golden-crowned Kinglets
Varied Thrush
Red-tailed Hawk
Spotted Towhee
Red-winged Blackbird
Bewick's Wren
Song and Fox Sparrow
Mallard
Red-breasted Sapsucker
