Tweets,
Monday in Tenino was the first break in the weather since forever, and the
birds were loving it! Highlights: 1 or 2 yellowthroats at the Mull Rd marsh
east of town, likely the same individual as last month. N Pygmy-owl, Vantine
Rd (north of the marsh) at the "S", first since October (a pair has likely
been present but I haven't been really trying so as to not disturb). All 5
woodpecker species were active on Vantine, and the first Hutton's Vireo and
Evening Grosbeaks in a long time were heard. MacIntosh Lake hosted the best
diversity of waterfowl I've seen there.
Good birding!
