Sightings for Tuesday, January 24th:

4 RED CROSSBILLS were in the vicinity of the cemetery near Lily
Point, Point Roberts, Washington.

14 SNOWY OWLS and 4 YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLERS were seen
east of the end of 72nd Street in Delta, along the Boundary Bay dyke.

The adult gray phase GYRFALCON continues in the Boundary Bay
area between 112th and 88th Streets, Delta.


Sightings for Sunday, January 22nd:

At Lighthouse Marine Park in Point Roberts, Washington the following
birds were seen: 4 MARBLED MURRELETS and 40 BRANDT'S
CORMORANTS.

A HERMIT THRUSH was observed in Queens Park, New Westminster.


Sightings for Saturday, January 21st:

4 MUTE SWANS were in the vicinity of the Westham Island Bridge, Delta.


Sightings for Friday, January 20th:

GRAY-CROWNED ROSY FINCHES are being observed regularly from the
Horstmann Hut at the 2,252 metre mark on Blackcomb Mountain,
Whistler. (The hut is only accessible by taking the ski lift - you
must have a snow board or skis)

A ROCK SANDPIPER was in a flock of about 20 BLACK TURNSTONES
along the Tsawwassen ferry jetty, Delta.

2 EARED GREBES and 45 LONG-TAILED DUCKS were observed from
the White Rock pier.


Sightings for Tuesday, January 17th:

A SNOWY OWL was present along 34th Ave near MacDonald in Vancouver.

A male TOWNSEND'S WARBLER continues to visit a suet feeder in
northeast Port Coquitlam.

2 MARBLED MURRELETS were observed at Lighthouse Marine Park in Point
Roberts, Washington. The WILLET was seen near the base of the
Tsawwassen ferry jetty in Delta.


Sightings for Monday, January 16th:

Another male TOWNSEND'S WARBLER continues at the 3000 block of
Spuraway in Coquitlam


Sightings for Saturday, January 14th:

14 BLACK OYSTERCATCHERS were present on the south side of the
Roberts Bank coal port jetty in Delta

A HERMIT THRUSH was observed at Jericho Beach Park, Vancouver

In Delta the following birds were observed:
At the end of 72nd Street 10 SNOWY OWLS, 4 SHORT-EARED OWLS,
2 YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLERS, and 2 WESTERN MEADOWLARKS
were reported. The grey phase GYRFALCON was seen along 104th Street
and also 88th Street. Also at 104th Street were a WESTERN GULL, 2
WESTERN SANDPIPERS, and 3 MARBLED GODWITS.

The WILLET and 3 SNOW BUNTINGS were present on the Tsawwassen
Ferry Jetty, Delta.
