Hello All,
This afternoon after fixing a flat we returned to Byrnes Rd. along with
Ginger Shoemake, Priscilla Dauble and Shirley Muse and once again saw the
Northern Mockingbird about half mile west of HWY 12. We also observed an
adult Yellow Shafted Flicker that appeared 90% yellow and 10% red-shafted as
it had a red smile along with two Barn Owls all in the same stand of Russian
Olives with the mockingbird. Then out on the Poop piles north of the pulp
mill along HWY 12 we saw the following........
Glaucous Gull.......2 birds, 1 second yr. bird and one third yr. bird.
Bald Eagle...............7 birds
Herring Gull.............20+ birds on the Poop piles.
Glaucous-winged Gull.........10+ on the poop piles.
That is it.
Later Mike
