Seattle Hills is an interesting area. Wetlands that are very rare are being dredged and homes/condos/commercial building space is replacing them very quickly. There are "new" or mitigated wetlands North now that were built over a year ago and seem to look okay but usually sit vacant. Hmmmm.....interesting huh?!!! Anyway, this is great Harrier habitat and this doesn't surprise me at all since the area and prey is very likely disturbed on an hourly basis and they are adapting to a local situation. Curious if the behavior continues next year or if they just move out of the area?
