Hi All,

As noted in previous emails from Matt Bartels and Ed Newbold, the ICELAND
GULL was present today in the usual spot in the field at the intersection of
212th & 59th Pl in the Kent Valley. I observed the bird between 1 and 2 pm.

The TUFTED DUCK was also present at the flooded field along 204th. I
observed the bird from about 2:10 until 2:25 pm. The bird was resting among
a large group of RING-NECKED DUCKS. During the entire observation period,
it never removed its bill from underneath its wing. In fact, I was never
able to observe the tuft but the clean white flanks contrasting with the
dark mantle stood out well.

Cheers and Good Birding!
