Kevin was indeed a wonderful person. I met him on several occassions - most
notably when he was checking gourds and evicting starlings in Edmonds - one
pair of starlings returned only an hour or so after Kevin had cleaned out
their nest - he waited and shood them away again and again - I came back a
few weeks later and martins were entering and leaving the nest at a frantic
pace - success! For those who didn't know Kevin and his work I've pulled
together a few articles / web sites that demonstrated his devotion to these
birds. (google "kevin li" and "purple martin" together and you get 875
hits).
This is a really sad day for all of us.
