I am deeply saddened and shocked to learn of Kevin Li's death. Last June,
Kevin took me on a tour of several of his Purple Martin gourd sites for a
special segment of On The Wing (it's at

Kevin was a dedicated, generous, wholly remarkable person. I was looking
forward to seeing him again.
