Seattle Audubon is offering the following exciting class on loons and grebes!
Learn your Loons & Grebes
with David Drummond, Research Wildlife Biologist
These graceful marine birds, swimmers and divers of the winter saltwater, pose interesting identification
challenges. Join us for an in-depth look into the life histories and plumages of loons and grebes, as well as a
field trip aboard the Viking Star. We will cruise through Deception Pass and around Fidalgo Island in
search of loons and grebes, and other marine birds and wildlife. Sign up for just lecture, boat trip or both!
Class: Friday, February 10, 7:00 to 9:30 PM
Location: Center for Urban Horticulture, Douglas Classroom
Cost: $25 members, $40 for nonmembers for lecture, $50 for boat trip.
Boat trip: Saturday, February 11, 10:00 AM- 4:00 PM. Meet in LaConner at 10:00 AM. Sign up for
