Montlake Fill aka Union Bay Natural Area. It is next to the University of Washington to the east and slightly north. If you follow Montlake Avenue around to Mary Gates Drive, you get to the Center for Urban Horticulture (CUH). The acreage surrounding the CUH is the Fill (so called because it used to be a landfill prior to the 1960's).

Find the stadium, go slightly north & east to the big blank area on Union Bay. That is where the Fill is (Union Bay Place NE was renamed for Bill Gates's mom at some point). Hope that helps.

PS. After over three weeks on the nest the PS flycatchers over our back
door have successfully hatched 4 young and are busily feeding them. Any
ideas how long before they fly?
