Greetings Tweeters,
Yesterday (July 4) my brother Tim and I observed the Hooded Oriole in
Seattle between 0715 and 0730. We parked on Montford (sp?) just off of
Magnolia, then walked along Magnolia and down the lane below Magnolia. This
is Magnolia Way I believe and is mentioned in many previous posts. The bird
was found near the lower end and was viewed well. It sees likely that early
is a better time to search for the bird.

The previous day, Tim was able to locate the Clay Colored Sparrow at the
usual location along Melville Rd. SW of Tenino in Thurston County. It was
seen near mid-day and was still singing.
