I have extracted a couple of the figures from Johnson's papers
on the Western Flycatcher Complex. Two of his papers are available
as free pdf downloads via SORA ( http://elibrary.unm.edu/sora/ )
His 1980 monograph is not on-line, but may be available for purchase
at Amazon (that's where I got my copy)

It does not appear that he collected any samples from eastern
Washington. But he does make a good case for postive assortment
of two distinct morphological and genetic types in the Siskyous.

I have also included a link at the bottom of the page to the
vocalization analyses being done by Arch McCallum in on the Western
Complex. If there are other links to current research, I will
be happy to include them as well.
