Subject: [Tweeters] July Ocean Shores Northern(?) Shrike

When a Temminck's Stint in July is more likely than a Northern Shrike
in July, does it hold that a wandering Steppe Grey Shrike, L.
meridionalis pallidirostis from the central Asian Steppe in July, is
not out of the question? Or some other Asian Shrike. There are a
number of near look-alike shrikes that could be mistaken for a
Northerns. Although the Sullivans are not likely to make such a
mistake, anything like this found along the northwest coast, and so
far out of season is worth very close scrutiny.
